Pen (0.1) fixed to wind turbine on drawing board
Driving to work can become a mechanical habit; subconsciously following the smooth curvature of the road. Meanwhile a stationary pedestrian is blown away at the rush of wind produced by the passing vehicle. This wind-powered drawing machine captures the very trail left by vehicles; expressing the experience of motion in a drawing. A wind turbine is placed at a cross section whereby its rotation records kinetic traces of traffic flow. A circular density of lines is drawn by a suspended pen capturing the rhythm and experience over a duration of time.
