Contraption of three pens (0.1) on drawing board

The internet enables people to exchange massive amounts of information globally in a matter of seconds. Each participant in this global network obtains a state of omnipresence, able to be anywhere and nowhere at the same time. This drawing machine captures the invisible events taking place anywhere in the world, working as a seismograph weaving together data strings to physically manifest the pulse of virtual space. The plotter is allowed to maneuver freely across the paper within elastic boundaries, thus acquiring certain artistic freedom and ambiguity in its movement. The drawing tool itself becomes the artist, physically limited by nothing other than a power source. Dancing to the rhythm of social media, the machine automatically paints the entwined web of the current social scene in a single image.
