toys / ink / acrylic paint / paper

The deconstruction of a toy and the discovery of its hidden mechanical parts is the motor of a process of drawing that uses the unexpected motions to trigger the movement of a pen or a paintbrush on a page. The resulting drawing show the paths of endless repetitions and of small unpredictable variations. This experiment was set up as a workshop in the Tanween Program at Ithra.
